We ordered the BLT and a farmers omelet and it was great! Quite busy, which makes sense as it was a Sunday after church was letting out. The atmosphere was good, albeit a bit noisy due to full seating. Four stars because we were not aware that they did not take cash until we sat down and ordered and only then noticed a small sign at each table that mentioned card or check only.

I stopped here after my first choice turned out to be a restaurant that was closed for construction. As soon as I reached for the front door, I noticed a sign that said, "Cash only, no credit cards". Normally this would be enough to make me go somewhere else, but I was tired of driving and really wanted to eat. I had money in my pocket, and I decided to stay. I ordered the hot turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes and when it arrived, it looked good. You could tell the turkey was hand carved as some pieces were thick and others were thin. The turkey was very tender and moist. The gravy was darker than I'm used to on Turkey sandwiches, it almost looked like a beef gravy. Looks aside, the taste was good. The mashed potatoes were very creamy and smooth. This was a wonderful lunch. The ONLY reason I am giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is because it's cash only. It is 2023 and I understand that there are charges associated with accepting credit cards, all you must do is put up a sign that says there would be a -% added to credit card charges. I know many other small businesses that do this, and it is so much more accommodating than just CASH ONLY... I'm sorry to say, but I won't be back.
Great little place, great service, amazing food. We were obviously not the local crowd because we got some looks from the customers who were 90% elderly. But I would still return since the food is great and the prices are very reasonable.
What not to like about this family run business? We love breakfast here. Good homemade breakfast offerings. Can't go wrong. I alway enjoy their classic breakfast-two scrambled eggs, crispy hash browns and raisin toast! I'm not a bacon or sausage fan but I'm told those are good options. Hubs likes their steak and eggs. Always done to a perfect medium rare. Plus prices that won't make u take out a second mortgage! It is a cash or check only place -no credit or debit cards. But there is an ATM in the lobby if you forget. Service is always quick and friendly-feels like home
Hadn't been there in years, used to eat there every week when I was working at the college. Hubby had the Belgian waffle with bacon, and I had a sandwich. They could definitely benefit from upgrading the bacon they purchase--really fatty but the waffle and sandwich were good.
